Emergency is an upcoming historical drama film based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film traces her political career as the former Prime Minister of India and how she braved odds in the line of events that took place in 1975, which changed India's history. Former PM Indira Gandhi was the third Prime Minister of the country, and to date, has been the only female to become one. She was the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
